Tamara Bendersky, a.k.a. Tanta Tinta.

I'm a Chilean artist based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, working under the name Tanta Tinta. My practice is built around the lineal abstraction of an image or idea.

What started as a personal drawing habit became a tattoo practice, then artwork, then murals — always circling back to the same idea: reduce a feeling, a body or a space to its essential line, and let that line carry all the meaning. Today that work moves between skin, paper, walls and fabric, between Chile and Brazil, and increasingly between brands and collaborators who share the same instinct for less-but-considered.

When I'm not tattooing or painting a wall, I'm usually running a workshop — teaching people who've never called themselves artists how to trust their own hand.
